Who can ask for anything more than a 24-hour restaurant in Waikiki that serves up great local favorites that residents and visitors enjoy? No one, that’s who — and at Wailana Coffee House they do just that.

The establishment is always bustling with customers who stop in for a delicious bite to eat, and with an extensive menu, there’s something for everybody.

Dining Out caught up with Elaine Brewster, and Ann and Michael Mezzacappa visiting from out of town. While it was Ann’s first time in Waikiki, Elaine and Michael had visited 10 years prior, and said they had to come back to Wailana Coffee House.

Ann Mezzacappa: “My teri burger (Tokyo Burger, $6.75) came with a salad bar, and the girl at the salad bar really impressed me, she was very helpful. Everything so far has been delicious, and you can’t beat the price.”

Elaine Brewster: “I ordered the teri burger special (Tokyo Burger, $6.75) with the salad bar ($4.35) and curly fries. They have good food, good service and the price is right.”

Michael Mezzacappa: “I actually just got a regular hamburger (Wailana Burger, $8.50). We came here for the first time 10 years ago, and it was good enough for us to remember and come back.”
