There’s always a celebration in order at Panya, where the bistro, bakery and bar’s slew of gourmet delights, both sweet and savory, are toast-worthy any day of the week. During the month of July, you’ll find some extra helpings of festivity that only prove Panya knows how to bring the party in its own tasty fashion.

You can spice up your next gathering with Panya’s Pupu Platter, which is priced at $100 for a 12-portion order ($120 value) throughout July. This scrumptious platter presents spring rolls made in-house and served with Thai-style sweet chili sauce, homemade gyoza with ginger garlic vinaigrette and one-bone chicken wings with sweet and spicy shoyu sauce. For smaller get-togethers, diners may customize the size of their order for $9.95 per portion.

“If you want something that you can share and enjoy with your friends, this is a good idea,” explains owner Annie Yeung.

The Queen Street location’s catering menu (10 person minimum) also will add a chic culinary touch to any event. Customers may choose from a classic Finger Sandwich and Salad menu ($10 per person) or a number of internationally themed menus. The Thai-Style option ($17 per person), for example, features Green or Yellow Curry with chicken or tofu and vegetables, a choice of Thai-style meat, rice and a mini dessert. The variety of flavors continue with Island Favorite ($12 per person), Italian Style ($18 per person), Oriental Style ($17 per person) or Japanese Style ($15 per person)

menus. And if you have a morning engagement, The Breakfast Platter ($8.50 per person; from 7:30 a.m.) will start the day off right.

Yeung suggests placing catering orders a day or two in advance. “We are flexible — we can always try to make it work for our customers,” she says.

All of Panya’s incredibly chic eats undoubtedly need a luscious dessert to follow. Making this Fourth of July that much sweeter, the bakery will present some of its most popular cake slices at $4 apiece. Strawberry Shortcake, Mango Mousse, Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Delight are just some of the tempting treats that will be available for this oneday special.

And, in celebration of an outstanding 15 years of business, the Ala Moana location will offer discounted cake slices ($4) during its July 13-15 Sidewalk Sale.

Now that’s a reason to get your party started at Panya.
