Choi’s Garden Yakiniku Restaurant has been called Hawaii’s favorite Korean restaurant, and has lived up to the slogan by providing customers with clean eating facilities, as well as food that keeps patrons coming back again and again.

Dining Out caught up with a couple of friends one afternoon for lunch who both agreed that the Stone Pot Rice (various prices) is a favorite. All Stone Rice Pots come with miso, kim chee or soft tofu soup.

The Stone Pot Rice dishes are a favorite at Choi’s Garden and come with: kingko plum and chestnut served with yellow fish ($12.99); dates, beans sweet pumpkin and kalbi ($17.96); and dates, beans, sweet pumpkin and pollack fish ($18.96).

Lucey Lee: “I like the Stone Pot Rice with Fish ($12.99). It’s good and nutritious because there are different types of rice and grains.”

Joy Motohashi: “I always get the same thing — Stone Pot Rice with Kalbi ($17.96).”
