The four-course prix fixe menu begins with an appetizer, which is a choice of the flavorful Crispy Garlic Scallion Shrimp with Honey Chili Aioli or the mouth-watering Short Rib & Foie Gras Tortellini with Apple Smoke Bacon Mushroom Jus. Next is a Spinach Salad with Grape Tomatoes, Mandarin Orange and Poppy Seed Dressing.

For the main course, you can choose between Fresh Catch of the Day topped with blue crab, Kahuku corn, vine-ripened tomatoes and shiitake mushroom relish or Fire Roasted Tenderloin of Beef with an exotic truffled mushroom sauce. Dessert is a Raspberry and Dark Chocolate Truffle Tart.

“The food is excellent, that’s guaranteed,” says co-owner Gale Ogawa. “(On this special night) we’re not offering our regular menu, only the special Valentine’s Day menu, which features a lot of the favorites from our regular dinner menu. However, if they’re not able to celebrate Valentine’s Day on a weekday (Feb. 14 is a Tuesday), they can come on the weekend and we will be offering our regular a la carte menu.”

In addition, 3660 on the Rise is offering its signature Ahi Katsu ($14.50) and Chilled Oysters on the Half Shell with a ginger vinaigrette topped with tobiko (two for $5.75) to enhance your dinner. There also will be drink specials, and seating will be open throughout the restaurant and private dining rooms.

“We are a neighborhood restaurant that’s been here for 19 years,” adds Ogawa. “The food is Euro-Island cuisine and our setting is upscale casual. The food is fine-dining quality but in a more relaxed setting.”

The establishment also is available for private parties and can accommodate 20 to 200 people for lunch or dinner. The award-winning restaurant is a popular choice for special occasions, such as Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day brunch buffet, as well as everyday dining.

The Valentine’s Day menu is $75 per person, and reservations are required.
