This dedication to taste and quality extends to the restaurant’s holiday specials as well.

The cafe serves as a year-round tradition of sorts for many loyal patrons. Friends Guy Ching and Bryan Marciel frequent the spot for the beloved house special, Lechon Kawali ($8.99). This richly flavored specialty features pork with deliciously crackling skin, served on a bed of savory garlic rice. A plenitude of fresh scallions, onion and tomatoes tops it all off.

Bryan Marciel: “We kind of came here just for this. It’s always available and the taste is really good. Their menu is pretty diverse, you don’t have to go to a Filipino restaurant to find this.”

Guy Ching: “I like it very much.”

The family-owned dining spot has multiple locations including the Navy Exchange, in Downtown Honolulu and on Queen Street. Dine-in, takeout and catering available. Call for details about the eatery’s holiday specials.
