According to Liu, his Honey Walnut Shrimp ($9.95) is a must-have dish featuring succulent morsels of shrimp perfectly battered, and topped with a special mayonnaise sauce and crunchy walnuts.

“The Honey Walnut Shrimp, along with the Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, has been one of our most popular items for the past nine years,” Liu says. “It’s very sweet and tasty. Most of my customers say they have to order the shrimp and pork chop before they walk out the door.”

The Poached Fish Country Style ($16.95 full order, $8.50 half order) also is a required dish for customers. This flavorful sole fish entices diners, as it’s cooked to a sizzle in hot oil, seasoned with a dash of shoyu and then garnished with just the right amount of ginger and onion.

“Our Oyster Sauce Chicken Cake Noodle is now offered at the special price of $4.50, and that’s hard to beat,” Liu adds.

For those who are crazy for noodles, New Liu’s Oyster Sauce Chicken Cake Noodle is a staple requested by many of the restaurant’s loyal patrons. The noodles are smothered in a house-made oyster sauce gravy and paired with tender pieces of chicken and fresh bok choy.
