Kenny’s Restaurant has been a landmark in Hawaii for the past 45 years, specializing in many kamaaina favorites. Today, the Kalihi eatery continues to feed diners with delicious dishes prepared by chef Ernesto Yeban.

Dining Out recently paid a visit to Kenny’s Restaurant, where we caught up with husband and wife Philip and Betty Ho, who were enjoying a casual breakfast together.

Philip Ho:

“I ordered the Polish Sausage with Scrambled Eggs ($7.89) and a side of spinach. Betty ordered the Gomoku Won Ton Min ($8.29). “We come to Kenny’s about three times a week for breakfast. We especially like the atmosphere and the fact that they’re diabetic-friendly. I’m diabetic and they have a lot of foods that I can eat.”
